This
course is a
combination of fun
and serious study of
theater for the
dedicated student.
Under the leadership
of certified drama
instructor Amy
Beaucham and her
experienced
assistant Laurel
Alford, students
will develop
theatrical skills
through enjoyable
exercises and
prepare for a
performance
including musical
numbers, student
monologues and a
presentation of the
play "Charlie
and the Chocolate
Factory."
This Tuesday class
will be held from
4:00 to 6:00 at
Kedron Elementary
beginning February
2nd with an optional
hour of set
construction
participation
preceding the March
23rd class. A dress
rehearsal will be
held Thursday, April
29th from 5:30 to
7:30. The
performance will
take place on
Friday, April 30th
at 6:00 on the
Kedron Stage.
Tuition is $250.00
and includes twenty
five hours of group
instruction, 2
scheduled one hour
private sessions,
performance
experience, class
materials, class
T-shirt, certificate
of course
completion, trophy,
costume needs,
performance
admission for
friends and family,
and professional
sound costs. Mrs.
Beaucham currently
teaches Enrichment
at Kedron and holds
a Masters Degree in
Education. She was
voted Best Actress
of Georgia Southern
College and has
continued to perform
on community theater
stages and as story
teller throughout
Georgia. Mrs. Alford
will be offering her
extensive experience
and expertise in the
field of drama
cultivated as a
performer and
through her many
years of service to
the children's
theater program at
NCTC.

Dramatic Fanatics
Fun!

fun-filled,
confidence building
course is designed
to teach acting and
performance skills
through creative
dramatic activities.
Under the leadership
of certified drama
instructor Amy
Beaucham, the
students will engage
in delightful
improvisation and
theater games each
week that develop
stage presence,
creativity, and
expression. Students
will also be taught
auditioning and
puppetry skills.
This Monday course
will be taught from
4:00 to 6:00 at
Kedron Elementary
and will include
eight classes on the
following dates:
January 11th,
January 25th,
February 1st,
February 22nd,
March 1st,
March 8th, March 15th,
and March 22nd.
Tuition is $150.00.
